They Google Your Name Every Day!

Filed under: Best Brands, Hall Of Information, Library — Tags: , , , — admin @ 10:04 pm

Personal names are being googled in large numbers

It is not just company and product names that are searched for in Google and other search engines. Personal names are also in the “danger zone,” and it can be an extremely serious matter to end up in Google with some inappropriate results on your name.We can agree that the name John Smith is not as sensitive as e.g. Thomas Rosenstand - the author of the famous SEO Book SEO-LEX. But remember, as more and more people buy themselves a new and special name, the more unusual the name is the greater the risk for inappropriate search results.I always Google the names of people I deal with commercially.

I know enough about search engines to be able to filter the results afterwardsbut not everyone has those skills. That is why it is important for all companies whose management, sale persons and others are exposed to make sure that there is no room for inappropriate stories in the search engines, and you do this by being visible on your own initiative. We keep seeing undesirable examples where several year old stories still dominate the search results for personal names. And it is quite often not fair.

Now imagine a managing director who in 2002 was suspected in a case of insider trading and therefore was mentioned in all the leading newspapers. He is acquitted 6 months later and the newspapers might bring a small notice about it, which is how they work. You will still find the stories about insider trading in the top 5 spot on Google when searching for his name 5 years later. It is not fun, it is not fair, but it is reality.

Review of DeWitt Twenty-8-Eight Watch

Filed under: Best Brands, Economy — admin @ 9:46 pm

The past two years have been a bit difficult for DeWitt. As a Swiss watch maker, they used to make not a few attractive luxury watches that made what Dewitte was. But now this brand still has a hard time and they are struggling to move on.

One shining point of Dewitt watches is the castle rimmed” bezels which always deliver a instant royal feel. And Dewitt used to release highly complicated watches that were beautiful and interesting. However, it seems that Dewitt walks a bit far from its way with some boring new models. Take DeWitt Twenty-8-Eight Watch for example. It really pales before the brand’s exclusive regal looking watches and looks like a cheap replica watch..Sized at 43mm, the watch is presented on 18k rose gold. Aside from an the guilloche-engraved complex dial and the signature columns at watch sides, the watch has no big shining points. The big problem, in my problem, is that it is watch has no soul and clear theme.

According to Dewitt, the designs on this watch is part of their brand evolution. While I agraee that the brand need mid-priced models to hold on, I am afraid they are on a wrong way as they may lose their most important customer section. And I notices that the hands are too small and short for the dial. What is wrong with Dewitt replica watches. The watch is powered by DeWitt caliber DWT8AU automatic movement. The watch will be limited to 500 pieces. I worry about the sales of this piece given it has no soul and lovable style.

The Name White Label Has Originated from White-Label Image on the Packaging

Filed under: Best Brands, Sales Tips — Tags: — admin @ 2:30 pm

White labels are used by some websites to facilitate a successful brand for offering its services

The name has originated from the white labels image on the packaging where the trade dress of the marketer finds place. The origin of white label products can be traced back to the period when DJs removed the label from vinyl records so that other DJs could not recognize the track. As a result of this, white label record surfaced.

When generic electronic items such as televisions and DVD players are produced at the massive scale, the process is called white label production. A number of companies keep a sub-brand for their products and these brands are particularly used by them. For example, you can sell a DVD player model-A from brand-A, which is also sold as model-B by brand-B.

White-label software are used by some websites to facilitate a successful brand for offering its services without investing in the development of infrastructure and technology. For instance Amazon.co.uk has been running the website of Waterstone’s until recently. Similarly, LoveFilm runs the DVD Rental services of Tesco. A majority of store brand or supermarket private brand products are offered by companies which change only the labels of the products and then sell them to various supermarkets. Moreover, some manufacturers produce inexpensive or low-cost generic brand labels but they put the name of product, like Cola.

Sometimes, large banks take the responsibility of running smaller banks’ credit-card operations. Moreover, they (larger banks) issue and process credit cards (as white label cards) for a certain amount of fee. This, in turn, enables smaller banks to brand credit-cards as their own without any need to make any considerable infrastructure investment, which would otherwise lead to excessive overhead.

Quality Cookware and Bakeware Introduction

The staples of any western diet can be made with everyday cookware found in almost any kitchen. Every now and again, though, we want to branch out and try some of the world’s more exotic cuisines and dishes. Sometimes this requires a speciality piece of cookware. Let us take a look at a few of them.

When sampling the world’s foods, the first port of call is often Italy. After all, noodles and spaghetti is pretty much a regular in our diet nowadays, and trying one’s hand at genuine Scanpan, Calphalon and Anolon are just a few brands that offer pasta pots and inserts. The beauty of a these cookware combos is that you essentially have a built-in colander, so draining the pasta is very simple. And these pots can do double-duty when you decide to give risotto a go.

Spain has long been famous for its rich, flavoursome cuisine. Paella, its signature dish, can today be found in cafes and restaurants across the globe. To make delicious paella, you could use a standard wok or chef pan. But you wouldn’t capture the true essence of such a dish. With a large surface area, paella pans allow you to heat a large quantity of ingredients evenly and without excess liquid.

The most prominent regular found in any Asian kitchen is a wok. Stir frys are such a quick and healthy way to break up a week of humdrum dishes. It needs to be pointed out, though, that a wok can also be used for steaming, deep frying, braising and making soup. A frypan simply isn’t up to the all of those tasks. While some cheap and nasty woks are fine for your average kitchen, for those who really want to explore new cooking heights Scanpan, All-Clad and Calphalon produce exceptionally good woks.

Westerner uses oven a lot more than Asian does. Baker’ Secret has been producing and evolving non-stick bakeware to improve the enjoyment and simplicity of cooking your favourite meals for decades. Baker’s Secret has a wide range of products for baking cookies, muffins, tarts, cakes and so much more.

How Important it is to have a Professional Logo Design for your Business?

Filed under: Best Brands — admin @ 8:24 pm

There are a lot of things that contribute towards the success of a business. Having a good quality product doesn’t necessarily assure the success of a business. To build a long term impression on your customers, it is vital that you have a proper marketing strategy and something unique about your company. Here comes in the importance for having a custom logo design.

I think it is absolutely important for all corporate bodies to realize the importance of having a custom designed logo. A professional logo design goes a long way to establish the identity and exude the attitude of the company. Now, when we say ‘professional logo design”, we must understand that it is not a child’s play, its a specialist job and better if it is assigned to a professional logo designer. The corporate bodies need to appoint the specialist in the field to get it done. I definitely do understand that its lot of fun to design your own logo; You play with colors, try out your drawing skills and spend some idle time to think what should be the design, at the end you land up with a very common concept of having the initials of your company in some twisted fashion or putting in a sleazy slogan to say your product is the best or some other things like that. However, that is not how your logo should be, it is not just a small graphics to appear in your business cards and letterheads. A logo, if done properly can leave a long and deep impression on your customers mind. They go a long way in depicting the image of your business. You can well understand, how powerful a logo can be if you think about the golden M of McDonaldsthe moment you see that, you know its’ them. Just think about the IBM logo or Swoosh of Nike, do you even take a moment to think, to whom does that logo belong? That shows how powerful impact a logo can create in the mind of your customers. Wouldn’t you like your company to have an equally powerful logo?

A professionally designed custom logo can be very powerful in representing the company profile, the nature of job they do and the attitude of the company. It helps to build the identity of the company and distinguishes your service from your competitors in the industry.

These days its really easy to find a professional logo designer and the best part is that they offer the service at real cheap rates which can be afforded by the smallest of business houses. There are so many logo design firm that offers excellent custom logo designs at unbelievable low rates. There are even companies that would happily do a quality logo for you for just $60-$80. Some companies would even allow you to quote “Your price” for “Your Logo” and they will do it at whatever price you quote. What can be more wonderful than this? Does it really make sense not to have a good logo even when you can have it so cheap?

The good news is, these days the corporate houses have started to realize the importance of establishing their brand and they are acknowledging the crucial role that a company logo plays in this process. The sooner the business houses realize the importance of professionally designed custom logo and stationery the better it will be for them and also for the graphic designing industry.
