The stage show combines singing, dancing with lovely scenery and costumes to generate a spectacular production. Audiences will appreciate hearing recognizable tunes from the film, together with several new songs written specifically for the musical version. All in all, the Lion King Musical delivers terrific entertainment for all age groups. In the early 1990s, it felt like the world of theatre was burning out. Together with the bills of creating a musical theatre production increased massively, few people were prepared to pay for costly theatre tickets when they could just as effortlessly visit the movie theatre for a fraction of the price. Luckily, Disney rescued the deteriorating Broadway scene, first with a stage show edition of Beauty in the Beast, and after that a show of the Lion King. Today, this fancy modern musical can be seen at a number of venues, including the Lyceum Theatre, situated in London’s West End. Here are five reasons why you ought to be present at this spectacular show. 1. Attractive to All Age groups Plainly, the Lion King is a hit with kids. But the rhythmic music and sophisticated plot makes it an enjoyable production for grown ups also. Young adults will delight in reliving memories of the first time they saw the movie as kids. 2. Award Winner The Lion King has had a number of recognized awards, including eleven Drama Desk awards and six Tony awards. In addition, it was nominated for a further five Tony awards. Any production that is the recipient of this volume of awards is obviously worth experiencing. 3. Brand new Songs Everybody savors the songs from the movie rendition of the Lion King. But there are also several brand new songs that were made for the musical rendition. These new songs include ‘Endless Night,’ ‘Shadowland,’ and ‘One By One.’ 4. Lovely Costumes One might ponder how a musical stageshow of the Lion King is able to represent animals like giraffes and zebras while using humans as actors. This feat was completed with the help of quite a few excellent costume designers. It is amazing to see the costumes, which are simultaneously complex and easy. The amazing thing about these costumes is that they are able to to communicate human characteristics while keeping crucial animalistic elements. This anthropomorphic balance between animal and human helps keep the story believable. 5. Unique Scenery There a count of complicated scenes in the Lion King that might not work without the use of complex scenery and props. One such scene is the stampede, during which wildebeast props on rollers produce a powerful feeling of danger with the animals racing towards you giving the illusion of depth. Together with great music, lovely costumes and unique scenery, the Lion King musical is one of the most entertaining shows in decades. A must see for adults and children alike! Sleepover at a Friends

Filed under: A Life Of Leisure, The Fun Universe — admin @ 1:39 pm

When you go over to other people’s house you have to be thinking constantly about what they want. It is good if you put yourself in their shoes and respect their stuff without interrupting them at all. They are going out of their way to have you over so the least you can do is respect them. Since they are having you over you will want to bring something with you as a gift. If it is a girls night then bringing over a DVD series of the latest soap opera would be so great. You all could lay around at night and watch the whole entire series. It is fun when you start at the first one and just keep watching the whole way through.

If the host wants anything at all then you should get it for them. If they want you to go out and pick up a bag of chips then don’t hesitate, you are the guest. Make sure to make the party fun. Even if you have lower back pain and don’t feel like giving it your all, make sure to be a good guest and help where help is needed. Sleepovers are fun just as long as you are respectful and do your part to make the time fun.

Mordern or Medieval Hog Roasts?

Hog roasts have been around for hundreds of years but they may well be at their most fashionable right now. At special feasts in medieval times the host would roast a whole hog to dish up to his invitees as it was one of the most brilliant and brilliant things you could do. It was only the very prosperous and prestigious who could afford to do this, and consequently only a select few got to experience it. Using a gas cooker and a mechanism to turn the spit rather than a fire pit and a manual spit turning system, these are the small difference between the two methods. The results are a sight which few men or women can refuse, both methods develop the same beautifully roasted hog, dripping with flavour and covered in golden brown crackling.A hog roast will turn your event into a day that no one will forget in a hurry, so whether you’re having a medieval themed banquet or just holding a birthday party remember to keep hog roasts in mind.

In Part Due to the Global Recession Many Ski Companies Will Be Cutting down Their Number of Luxury Catered Ski Chalets

Filed under: A Life Of Leisure, Life Of Travel — admin @ 3:08 pm

Thanks to the credit crunch snowboarding reservations dropped last season.

In spite of strong early on bookings coupled with great skiing.

These drops in skiers follows on from 7 seasons of continuous growth within the ski industry, and the numbers contracted from one million in 2008/9 to less than a million last winter.

Perhaps due to snowboarders giving the season a miss, while additional snowboarders who’d usually take two or more snowboarding trips, only took the one.

Sales for the independent travel sector fell by 15% and a few low priced airlines reducing the amount of airplanes to several cities.

Tour operators witnessed the numbers going down by around 15%.

Notwithstanding, the top 6 tour operators share stayed at 72% and skiing holidays France continued to remain the top skiing destination with nearly 40% of the English ski market.

Due to this a lot of ski operators lowered the amount of chalets they operate this year.

The catered chalet markets will surely see a drop in clients in light of the fact that a luxury catered chalet costs more for the tour operator in terms of staff and rental if it is not sold.

It is unlikely therefore we shall benefit from the last minute special offers that were around last year.

And costs are probably going to to augment, prices are unlikely to rise considerably.
