Synthetic Wigs: Go beyond Masquerades, Offer Medical Hair Loss Treatment
Hardly a soul might suggest it, simply ’cause my face compliments my wigs quite subtly, but my close family and friends know how much I wear wigs to regain my look. I’m Vanessa Harper and this is the Carolina Women’s Blog. Can you believe even my pool boy asked if God gave me my hair back the first time he’d seen me since I started wearing wigs. Credit goes to my lace front wigs! These make my hair styles no less than effortlessly voluminous. They allow me to live up to what I call my “feminity potential.”
Let me tell you what happened. Five years ago in the throws of my divorce, my doc told me I had a medical condition that essentially demanded women’s wig tips. It frightened me in my soul. But, for the longest time the unfortunate circumstances of my appearance were not even on the backburner. It’s a reality, I have children to look after in addition to thriving fashion consultancy at my beck and call. It hadn’t yet occurred to me that I simply had to care more for my image to defeat my problems.
So this humble blogger hopped onto the idea and worked in an office visit with my MD on the matter of handling my women’s hair loss. I initially asked about surgery, to be quite honest. As he proposed that well-made medical wigs from human hair were the most affordable response, I remained suspicious! Only recently I’m a devoted believer in wigs, and take every chance to help women with hair loss. The most important thing they should remember, is that if you work it it like you own it, you’ll feel empowered.
